Swap-bot - I am secretly cursing whomever it was that posted the link to this site. The last thing I need are more commitments… But I’ve let myself get sucked into a couple of swaps — one for hand-carved stamps and a couple for mix CD’s.
The Art of the Mix - I first came across this site several years ago when I was trading mix tapes with a couple of people I had met through blogging. It is always intriguing to see how other people combine music and a great way to discover new artists.
PostSecret - My visits to this site seem to go in spurts… I find myself returning on a regular basis for weeks at a time and then won’t go back for months. Nonetheless I find it utterly fascinating the things people ‘fess up to and the creative ways they express their deepest secrets. It is a little uncanny though that I so often find myself thinking, “oh my gosh, I’ve thought that…”
Postcrossing - Who doesn’t love getting mail from across the globe? I am the kind of person who usually comes home from vacation with a hefty supply of postcards. Rather than squirreling them away in a drawer, never to be seen again, it’s more fun to send them to people and in return receive postcards from around the world.
Teesha Moore - Whenever I need inspiration or just want a lift, I love to poke around Teesha Moore’s site. Her style and use of color are invigorating.
Journals & Letters at Flickr - While Teesha’s site inspires me, her amazing talent can be a bit intimidating at times. That’s when I love to explore the postings at Flickr — just regular people sharing their journals and artwork… I can do that.
Listology - What can I say, I am a list junkie… I love making lists, I love reading lists other people have made… ’nuff said…
